• Anesthesia Department is well equipped with modern workstations all difficult airway equipment including video laryngoscope and fibre optic bronchoscope and portable ventilators.

• Anesthesia department is conducting various non-dissertation research projects this year focussing on public awareness studies, geriatric anesthesia, psychiatric illnesses and pain specialties studies.
• 1. Prospective Comparative Observational Study of Efficacy and safety of Paravertebral Block on Postherpetic Neuralgia (PHN) in elder patient with oral medication in tertiary care center
• 2. A cross sectional study of knowledge, attitude and practices about anaesthesia speciality among MBBS intern Doctors
• 3. Knowledge and perception of Anaesthesiology as a branch of medical science and Anaesthesiologists role and expertise among patients attending anaesthesia OPD in tertiary care centre in India
